Martin Gessner, MD

Dr. Martin Gessner joined Burke Primary Care in 2004 and focuses his practice on caring for adult patients over the age of 18 with specialized interest in the management of diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and other chronic illnesses.

Dr. Gessner is a graduate of Wake Forest University and Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He also completed his residency training in internal medicine at the same institution. He is board certified in internal medicine and has worked in private practice for 8 years. He is married and has 2 children. His interests include spending time with his family, reading, playing golf, and watching sports.
