Melissa S Morse joins Burke Primary Care as a Family Practice Physician Assistant as part of the practice’s ongoing expansion and facility growth.
Starting Jan. 2, 2013, Morse will be working closely with Dr. Michael Gould, Dr. Deborah Davis and their patients.
Melissa was a Physician Assistant with Ridgeview Family Medicine after she earned her Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies in August 2011 from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. Her clinical rotations included Family Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatric Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, General Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Psychiatry and Gastroenterology.

MORGANTON, NC – It has arrived and earlier than usual. The flu has made its way to Burke County, with new cases being confirmed each day.
“It’s here, I’m afraid,” said Lisa Moore, health education supervisor for the Burke County Health Department.
While the health department doesn’t track the number of confirmed cases, one local doctor’s office, Burke Primary Care, has confirmed 50 cases at its office alone since the Thanksgiving holiday.
